So much new music now sounds like elevator/waiting room music it’s a weird trend.

A kpop love song about chapstick: The Boyz “Lip Gloss” youtu.be/w1YuAJFlV… (I’ve been trying to find this song for months so putting it out on the Internet for future explorers)
Currently reading: Light From Uncommon Stars by Ryka Aoki 📚
Animal Well seems like a really fun game. I really like the integration of PS5’s controller haptic feedback. The platforming was too frustrating for me to get far so unfortunately this is another I did not finish (DNF).

This month I plan to play Dredge and Red Dead Redemption 2 since they’re now on PS+.
I got a Playstation 5 late last year and essentially burnt myself out on (Square Enix) RPGs. This week I played through Wytchwood and it felt like a breath of fresh air. Highly recommended for folks who need a breather between giant AAA games. #indiegames
Last night I got to try Fish in the Percolator, a map making #storygame by Greg Hellings. It’s still in development but I really liked how starting with a transit system made the map feel more continuous and less like a point crawl. #ttrpgs
I accidentally deleted most of my podcast subscriptions so I’m looking for new ones if anyone has suggestions!
Currently reading: A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin 📚 Inspired by the Shelved by Genre podcast I’m reading through Le Guin’s Earthsea cycle.
Made a yummy easy Trader Joe’s meal of rice cakes mixed with beef bulgogi
I’ve started to get into fountain pens after learning about the drama around LAMY and their dark lilac that turned into a NY Times article. I’ve been writing with a (bright red) LAMY Safari for about a week now and today filled it with Faris Wheel Press’s “Golden Gate Glow” it is a nice light coper orange.
If anyone is running an Interstitial game let me know, I’m eager to play!

The new @ohwitchplease Material Girls got me all excited to read Sarah Whitfield’s “Boublil and Schönberg’s Les Misérables” I wish I could get academic texts from the local library. Maybe I can get them through an interlibrary loan.
Hello world, I recently got a Bluesky invite and, like everyone else, I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the social media choices. So I’m gonna give posting on my own website a shot. Now I just need to figure out what to write about.
